Need help with 4870x2 volt mod

Hey

I have a 4870x2 under water on a Ek Block and I was keen to push the clocks past 820/1010. To do this do I need to update to the ASUS TOP bios?

I remember with my old 8800GT is was a BIOS update and then a BIOS mod to increase the voltage and I was wondering is something similar is possible..

with the 4870 and 4850 you can do pencil mods and bios mods to increase the limits in CCC look over at xtremesystems they have loads of posts on the 4850/4870

I think the bios that Kerrgreg was refering to was for the single 4870, not the X2. You may want to investigate this further before continuing.

I have flashed the card with the 4870x2 asus top bios, left the volts to stock, what is safe voltage to use for 24/7 use?
