Comes in £5 over budget but you could go for a slightly lower PSU to bring that down such as the Corsair 450w or the 550w

Thanks frozennova and you meant 5750 (the pic) not too bad spec

Would this all go nicely? and that mobo don't say crossfire but i see 2x pci express slots (i think) so it should support 2x 5770s shouldn't it?

I'd go for this one;) out of the AMDs. but I think i5 is the way ahead at this time.

Yea, that will work however I think a slightly bigger PSU would be better for crossfire, and no the gigabyte board I specced doesnt support crossfire

Heres an i5 build I created for you based on £500. i5 will be more futureproof than AMDs quad setup. Though if you can stretch your budget to £550ish I could put together a awesome spec'd i5 setup.

Corsairs 450w PSU is plenty enough considering Cosair PSU are rock solid.

^^ ouch on the case, but I guess there's no choice bearing in mind the budget.

And go for the 320GB Sammy F1, it's only a few quid more and has a 16mb cache rather than 8.

how to I get the free post by the way? and thanks tankskun are the 5750s any good? or would it be better getting something like 4850?

Arh i just tryed to update it in my account info and said Your account has been associated but you do not qualify for free shipping yet (you require 250 posts and 90 days membership or 100 posts and 1 years membership).so I ant there yet :( lol

yeh I had that problem

*edit there back now

and thanks for the list Emlyn_Dewar but wouldn't he be better to have a non green drive as windows will be installed on it?

1156 has no better CPU's specced on the roadmap, so AMD is the better choice if you want to upgrade it. Performance wise they're all similar.

I ant sure yet, i will show him the specs of the systems here and see what he likes, my end up being the i5 setup as the i5 is a very good cpu.
