Just found out about these yesterday. Their so cool. I was thinking of doing a pc for my wife with one of these and to do some light gaming. Just need help with picking the right stuff for it.

Would like 8gb of ram 1600mhz. 16gb of ram would be better. Depends on cost?

250 ssd drive
Windows 8.1 64bit
Wireless lan

I have monitor and keyboard and mouse.

I think that's it?

With a Brix you get the WIFI/Blutooth card included.

Everything else looks good though.

I am personally going to ditch my big PC tower and go with a i5 NUC attached to the back of my monitor.

I think the best value one at the moment is the NUC D54250WYK. I was going to get the Brix i3 with HD4400 graphics, but I think I am going to stump up the extra £40 and get the i5 NUC.

I do think the Brix looks better personally but if its going to be stuck on the back of my monitor it doesn't really matter at the end of the day does it.

Overkill for me and if its anything like the Pro's it will be loud.

Edit - just watched the video and the fan profiling looks interesting. Maybe it won't be that loud.

Looks nice though. Wonder what the pricing will be?

I want to know pricing and release date myself.

Edit just found out it's releasing in may, but no price yet?

Have you seen the ASRock VisionX by any chance? It a little bigger than the NUC but the graphics power is substantially better than the NUC with HD5000 graphics.

It will also be a lot cheaper than the Nvidia Brix.

edit - not sure if its available over here though.

Not bad, but it is $980:eek: That's about £690 to £700. Still a bit pricey. It does have a lot more to offer then the Gigabyte Brix does, but the Brix is just so damn cute and can be mounted on the back of your monitor. The asrock can't.

Edit. Just show it on Amazon UK for £730
