My Friend recently has recently gotten into PC Gaming and has asked me to help her build a new system roughly around the £400 to £500 price margin, all it needs to do is run League of Legends, World of Warcraft and possibly some low spec games. Any thoughts?

Thanks a lot.

Is it just the base unit she needs for £500 - or are you after the whole kit-and-kaboodle - i..e. monitor, keyboard, windows?

She could probably get away with the base unit to be honest, then afterwards we can look at possibly upgrading her peripherals somewhere down the line.

Thanks a lot for that, i'll have a look into it and have a chat with her about it all :)

Haven't played wow since 2012 just as the panda expansion was realised, but up till then I used to play it all on not even half the performance of this computer and it was a laptop faultlessly on high settings, so you would have no problem running it or the other games.

Dont forget, if she has a monitor with a vga lead ( basically a flat screen monitor thats about 7 years old) , u will need an adapter to fit the gfx card,

VGA (female) to DVI (DVI-I/DVI-A) Monitor (male) Display Adapter

£3 from your favourite internet auction site :)

I really would spend an extra £5 - £15 on a B350 motherboard. Even a mild overclock can net some decent gains in performance on that R3 1200 and the cooler that comes in the box is fine for a mild OC.

i agree ...
Biggest selling point for ryzen 3 is ability to overclock ... why not use it?

Tidy spec Exo - the Aerocool is a nice budget case but no optical bay :)

Ha cheers, it's quite handy of AMD to create those R3 1200 processors, ideal for these budget builds and I'm sure that quad is better than the older generations of 4c4t aswell.

Ha I didn't take notice the case didn't have a drive bay, I saw how nice and sleek it looked, but then I only added an optical because the other person did, op might not even need one.
