This is going to be my first watercooling loop. And I need help choosing a reserviour.

I'm looking for a bay reserviour, where a laing d5 can be attached to it. I have been looking at this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-061-XS&groupid=962&catid=2133&subcat=2134 from XSPC, but ideally I would like to have a spare port on the reserviour so I can add a 1/4 thread temp probe.
I did think about putting a T connector in the line somewhere and putting the probe there, but this seemed a more 'messy' solution.

So does anyone know of a res that would be suitable? or if the XSPC could be easily modded to allow the probe? If so, has anyone done this?

Many thanks

Don't know about the probe situation but I'd avoid that res if I were you. I recently installed one & had a real ball ache trying to get air out of the system. I googled the problem & found a HUGE amount of people having the same problem & all of them had the same res.

I'd go for this one if you can get it working with the probe. Not in stock ATM though...

Why not fit an in line sensor?
Fits in the res and then the outlet fitting screws into it. I use a couple of this type to monitor temps on the exit ports of my rads.

I'd definitely go with an in line sensor over a t junction - depending how it's set up, the t junction could have the probe restricting flow in your loop.
