Need help with a windows Error Code

Hi all,

I have here a problem on my Home Server running WHS 2011. I have only had it for a couple weeks but still not been able to use windows updates.

When i try go to the 'windows update' window i click the 'check for updates' button and get it does the loading bar for a few seconds and then says, "an error occured while checking for new updates for your computer". Error code is 8007370A. Not found a solution through google and for some annoying reason, when i try to use microsoft support then try and charge me, despite having paid from ocuk for a license for whs2011.

Help would be much appreciated

thanks dude, but for some reason it wont even let me run the sfc scan. Even on the elevated command prompt. Look like im going to be heading for a fresh install what a pain the back end.

Got some options since im going for a reinstall. Probably going to not bother with the 60gb SSD, i think the move to that drive is what screwed my installaion as i couldnt move all partitions due to the size :-/ (i dislike this about whs). I might for a windows 8 installation and try setting it up as a server. Seen guides and info on this on we got server.

Any tips?
