Need help with Akasa Vipers

Hey guys,

I got the Venom cooler, that comes with the viper fan. I'm going to get another Viper and use them both.

Now, a few questions with this:

What fan setup would be best? Push Push, Push Pull, Pull Pull? (Fans are vertical right now, will be horizontal on my new mobo when I get it)

and

The Viper uses a 4 pin connection - As far as I can see, my motherboard only has 1 4-pin connection (cpu_fan), So what is the best way to power this?! :confused:

Just hook the fan up to your CPU Fan header and make sure you have an intake and exhaust fan. Simples

That's where the current one is though.. I'm getting a second, but no where to plug it in with 4-pins

You probably want something like this:

That way, you can plug it in to the CPU fan header and then have 3 PWM running off it.

Hi, the pwm splitter will run 3 fans not 4, but the fans must be all the same model IE-x3 Viper, if not they will just run at full speed.

Oh, that's pretty cool. Does PWM = 4-pin like the viper?

If so, I guess there would be no problem running a single extension from the motherboard, to behind the case, then plug that ^ splitter into the extension to try keep as tidy as possible...

If that makes any sense!
