Need help with asus sound card rma process

Has anybody had any experience with asus rma?

I have been in contact with technical support at asus about rmaing my xonar dg 5.1 (the mic jack stopped working). I found the guy I was talking to be very slow in replying but eventually after over a month he has "passed the case onto the relevant personnel" I am not even sure what that means, another month has passed and the only contact with asus and myself has been me asking for updates on what is happening to which the same reply comes back that he has chased up my case.
I also cannot reply to the case any more.

Basically I want to know if this is normal and ok or is there is anything else I can do?

I have RMA'd an asus motherboard and it took 3 months to arrive back! I don;t think very highly of their service.
 
Guess all you can do in these cases is keep chasing them :/ Call people if you can but otherwise feel free to keep sending emails or opening new tickets whilst referencing the original RMA reference number.

Helpdesks are often busy places and quite often the people that scream the loudest get helped sooner!
