Hello guys, here I am again. I ve done a fairly good job of the controlling cables side of things giving that my powersupply has a lot...and they are quite big so were I would normally run them I can't. none the less below is my most recent job (hay I m learning) would like some more tips of it as well.

I would like to braid the cables I have a rough idea of how to go about it, what tools I need etc, and I would like to see some out comes also :) i need to know what sizes of heatsrink/brading I need, I m tempted not to bother with SATA cables, just buy pre braided onces for that

I have too many cables coming off my PSU to hide so instead I can show them off with braiding :)

cheers for the help

*edit* yes a bit dusty :p

anymore ideas on personalising it? its a HAF 932

Having a modular psu would definately help mate, but saying that you've done a decent job with what you have. Not too many cable crossing the mb.

As for the sata cables, you could braid them but I would also look at buying some like the ones I have just got hold of. They are black so look nice and the cable is round. Being round it is more managable and also does not restrict the airflow in the case as much.

it just looks ugly, were I have to show the cables and it is, its a Tagan pipe rock 1100watt :P

i can't do anything about the red PCIe cables as they are steal braid, I can do something about the hardwired cables through

thanks for that, the 8/4pin is a extender anyways, I was thinking about getting a normal extender than braid it in the colour I want, as those pre braided is not in the colour I want :( not being funny or anything. that was my idea anyway.

I would like red and black braid(mixed in) for the PC as I like both red and black, plus it will show up nice with my erm pink cold cathode :S

Yes it is, only place to get it is that place that start with a C, unfortunate but hay.

I was thinking about 10mm for the SATAs (as they get shown quite a lot)
3-4mm for the fan wires and for the rest of the wiring, oh and 6 mm for the HD audio cable you can see creeping around the fan.

I know how to do the normal molexs, just take the pin out of the molex, but the SATA, and fan molex maybe a bit more complex, unless I can just slip the braid over it.

I have no idea what sizes I will need, all I know is I need 10mm for the SATA about 2 metres should cover it( so I can practice on some unused onces first)

I can get the heatshrink from OCuk as they have the most range of colours :D

air can ;) :P

I ll just hold the fans to stop them spining like little gens

also i would take my GPUs to bits so I can get to the heatsink but the screw are stuborn little ****** so just a blow through with the can might help....or not
