hi
what PSU would i need for this rig? i am thinking about going crossfire on the gpu and i need a lot of fans plus 2 1.5TB hard drives

i am getting a large 1000w just in case and for upgrades in the future!

Fair enough, but slightly overkill

750w wil be more than enough for a dual gpu setup, I'm running a overclocked I7 with 4870X2 which pulls 530w at full load.

PS - Your sig is to big, max 400 x 75 pixels

Take note that some 850w-950w PSU have a higher +12v rating than some 1000w PSUs. It's the +12v you should compare.
