Hi all, I'm new to the forum and also new to CPU upgrading and I've been looking at these within my budget range

Athlon X2 6000+ Dual-Core Processor - 3.10 GHz,1MB L2 Cache,Socket AM2,89W,65 nm

AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 95W Dual-Core black edition

Or...AMD Phenom X3 8450 Triple-Core Processor - 2.10 GHz, 3.5MB L2 Cache, Socket AM2+, 95W, 65 nm

Now I've been told I'm best off going with either one of the Dual Cores and not the triple-core as the main reason I'm upgrading is for gaming only and not much application work what so ever, So should I stick to the dual cores? If so which out of the X2 6000+ and 64 X2 7750 Kuma would you recommend I purchase? Thanks guys
