[NOOB ALERT - Please try and explain as simple as possible please]

These are my computer specs:

Board: Packard Bell imedia S3810
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. P01-A3 05/05/2010
3.20 gigahertz Intel Core i3 550
7GB Ram

I currently have the: Intel(R) HD Graphics i3 graphics card and was looking to purchase a better one for online gaming. I have seen a few decent cards such as the Sapphire 11167-04-20R HD 5570 1GB DDR3 HDMI Graphics Card. Something around this price range is what I am looking for!

Problems:
- Being only 16, I don't know too much about how graphics cards work/how compatible they are to motherboards and was looking for some advice.
- Could anyone recommend a decent card for something similar to the price of the suggested one (£50-£60)

If you need anymore info I'll let you know. :)

Im sorry, but being 16 is no downfall, infact it means you grew up in the information age which means that anything you want to know can be searched and understood in seconds. If you were 12, i;d have excused this comment, but at age 16 i was repairing computers like a lot of others here.

ANYWAY, for a budget of £50-60, i;d suggest looking at second hand cards becuase they can offer a lot for their money - personally i;d look for an old 4870 :)

I know first hand that 6570 will handle anything on medium settings at 1360x768 no lag at all. May be able to get a bit better out of it. I just installed it in a friends comp who had already bought one. However, If you don't mind second hand you could easily get a much better card.

Sorry for offending you. I have grown up around technology, I just find graphics cards and computer components hard to understand. That better?

My monitor is 1600x900

Also I'd be willing to spend anything up to £75

I'd just like to find one that will fit into my computer and work well. The case of my computer is fairly small so this is the only problem I have I think, considering it's fairly new.

Sorry for the late reply, been having exams at school.
