Hope this is the right area of the forum, as this seems like the most relevant place to post this.

So, here's the problem. My usual way to connect my DS no longer works, as the software for my Nintendo usb Wi-Fi connector isn't compatible with 64 bit vista. And the reason why i didn't connect my DS directly to my wireless ('access point' as my DS calls it) is because my connections security settings aren't supported by my DS and i'm not about to go messing with the settings.

So my next thought was to buy a wireless usb adapter to create a compatible access point for my DS to connect to. I however don't want to buy anything without knowing that it will work, but i don't know exactly what the right type of adapter is that i need for it to work.

I think the main problem here is that the DS requires a connection with a WEP key, which to my knowledge my wireless doesn't use, hence the need for something else for my DS to connect to.

So if anybody can help me with this i'd greatly appreciate it.

You could probably change your wireless so it uses a compatible wireless encryption but I'm also sure pretty sure that a DS also supports WPA-PSK?
