Hi, I need some help in locating a good place to put my PSU. The case is an anodised Apple Mac G5 case. I am waiting for the 360 radiator and fan along with the waterblock to turn up. The radiator will be at the bottom of the case and will most likely touch the memory modules. There is no room at the bottom. So I was thinking of either mountin the Corsair AX1200 PSU (8 inches long) to the front inside but I cant see how to attach it. Maybe I could attach it to the top shelf but again, I dont want to make a chopped n hacked look of the case.
I will most likely have to make a power port for the back of the case too but thats the least of my worries at the moment.
This is the side view of case with door off.
Inside case showwing bolts for case that may provide a solution
I am now thinking of a aluminium shroud type frame that will bolt to those panel bolts and then place the PSU onto it.
In case you were wondering, system specs:
Apple Case G5
ASUS P*P67 MOBO
Intel i7 2700k CPU
Koolance 370 waterblock
Phobya 150 Reservior
16GB RAM
Corsair AX1200 (1200Watt) PSU
2 x Raptor 150 GB HDD`s
Nvidia GTX590 Graphics
Stealth 360 Radiator
