Need help with custom PC PSU

Hi, I need some help in locating a good place to put my PSU. The case is an anodised Apple Mac G5 case. I am waiting for the 360 radiator and fan along with the waterblock to turn up. The radiator will be at the bottom of the case and will most likely touch the memory modules. There is no room at the bottom. So I was thinking of either mountin the Corsair AX1200 PSU (8 inches long) to the front inside but I cant see how to attach it. Maybe I could attach it to the top shelf but again, I dont want to make a chopped n hacked look of the case.

I will most likely have to make a power port for the back of the case too but thats the least of my worries at the moment.

I am now thinking of a aluminium shroud type frame that will bolt to those panel bolts and then place the PSU onto it.

Yes, your right. I dont think I have a choice. I was thinking of it being at the front, vertical, about 2 inches from front grill. I will have to reverse the fan inside the PSU maybe so as to expell air out the front perhaps.
I wonder if I could make a aluminium frame, that will clamp to the bolts you see at the front side and then have the PSU on that (it would need to be strong enough to hold firmly).
I will try tomorrow to make a rough form up and post here to see what you guys think. The experience and expert knowledge here perhaps can point out any shortfall I no doubt am about to make

Wow, you are not wrong about the length, and Yes to the suggestion of the kettle extension idea. That is a bit tricky for me as I hate the soldering idea but it may come to it. I will have a picture of the frame later. I am not very good at explaining things but I have made a cardboard template for a frame that will sit behind the front grill that stands proud about 2 inches(for access to screws), the PSU will sit on that nice and secure.

Well I eventually managed to construct a frame and secure it to the case. Unfortunately, I did not leave much room for the cable connectors. But, the connectors are short and so I mught leave it as is. Maybe later I will raise the frame half inch to give cables a bit of breathing room. Take a look see what you guys think.

Thx, but you know us enthusiasts can be really clumsy sometimes. You may have noticed my new PSU with a scuff down the side. In my eagerness to complete this I am making silly little mistakes.

I have to cut the base of the case tomorrow for the radiator air extraction. and the pump and reservoir placement.

At last I am almost at the end. h
Here are the near end pictures

I need to spray the top shelf, fit door connections, add two 1 TB hard disks, Blu-Ray drive, another 8GB Ram, the Radiator grill underneath and fit power cord module on back. Oh, I forgot, I am waiting for the NZXT Sentry LXE Desktop Touch Screen Fan Controller. The company (UK TEC) promise a 2 to 3 day delivery on this item but I have not heard back since purchase, The controller looks sweet and I will post that up when I get it.
