need help with driver if possible.6950

5 clean install and black screen still there 6950

hi there , i know the forum it is full oftyp on how to ddownload driver for ati 6950, but at this point i am at my 5th clean install and still i get a black screen at the end. this is what i did please tell me if is my fault .

Clean install 1 :delete partiton , format hard drive, installed window 7 64 bit
stop automatic update,update window manually, total of 75 update, did not download any driver for mobo or chip, went to amd choose catalys full version and just run it not saved, reboot , black screen.

clean install 2 : same as above but went to guru 3d run the 11.4 version wihc say is a preview , same black screen
so i did for other 2 time with different driver : 11.2 for guru, 11.4 from amd.
Still no screen on boot.
the only think i did not do yet is usuall install ,so clean install , driver disk for mobo driver disk for radeon ec ecc . I do something wrong? or just is not working for me.

8 gb corsair
700 psu
mobo msi 770 c45
phenom IIx4 3.2 deneb
screenresolution the max i could set as window basic before the dowload was 1024 .
Any idea , better pack the card and move gtx?

i know people are bored witht he conversation butn ia m really p... f now with this driver problem ,after alll the card is not cheap, then i might be a nooob , but not be able mto use it, actually i did 1 time with the disk driver but got 40 fps on just cause benchmark and 60 something in unigine cattedral

seems a lot of people complaining about drivers, i got my 2 cards today and have had nothing but problems I hope they sort em out soon. Sorry i couldnt add anything as i too am looking for how to solve the problems.

hi there thank you for the replay first of all. yes this card is pain in the .., what is more boring is that i cant use my system unless i use the mobo graphic , and well you will understand. i hope you find the right way , let me know, i will do the same if happen for me ,but so far i am chcking prices for the gtx, pity is a nice card, to look at.

hi there tom , i hope you will see this message, it seam that i manage to solve the problem with my graphic card driver. but it also saems that everybody as a different way.
In any case : i blocked window automatic update as for all the other installations , then i went to msi website and downloaded the driver from there ati 8.796_v7_vga wich are the old one i thnk , than in top of that i dowloaded the hotfix 10.2 , i update manually window 7 rebooot and works!!!!!, i test on unigine sanctuary score:

then as if the problem are not finish i accidentaly download the genuine advantege file and so have to reinstall all again ,dam, but i will do the same process as before shoould hopefully work twice
