I feel really stupid right now but i cannot figure it out. :(

I have just installed 2 new fans connected straight to motherboard however they are constantly at full speed and cannot find away to control them. I've checked the bios and cannot seem to see anything and also tried a software program with no joy.

Can anyone assist please

Just checked manual and doesn't say how to set the values, it just shows where you can see the speed

*this is where i already been in the bios menu*

Yep tried this already and couldn't seem to slow the fan speeds either

"couldn't seem"? Speedfan is an awkward program, are you sure you're using it right? Jayztwocents did a decent tutorial on it, see if that helps.

Assuming there is no option to control the fan headers under the Q-fan control part of the bios and speedfan doesn't work, you could try Argus monitor. There's a free trial. If that doesn't work you may need a hardware level controller.

Well i adjusted some settings and fan speeds didn't slow probably not doing it right, i will watch the video and try again. There is a q something option but that was just for the CPU

I gave it a shot with the tutorial and still couldn't control the chassis fan speed, so i need tl look at gettinf a fan controller but not sure what i need, i have 3 pin fans can you suggest a controller?

Sadly i don't have a lot of experience with hardware controllers, though i can tell you to stay away from Aerocool one's. Not had a good experience with those myself.
That Zalman controller will certainly reduce the speed of your fan, though *ideally* you'd want to have your fan speed up/slow down with the load of your system? If so that device won't cut it but it will make your system quieter.

Yeah ideally thats what i wanted however i don't seem to be able to do that, at the moment pc is running at aroubd 30c with fans at full speed so i just want to quiet them down a little
