Need help with graphics card

Hey guys, really simple question. I have an AMD A8-7670K R7 cpu with integrated graphics. Can i buy a graphics card and still keep the same cpu?

I don't intend to run the integrated graphics and graphics card at the same time, i just want all the other good stuff that the cpu does without buying a new cpu.

Also could you recommend a new Psu? Low price(ish) but reliable and good.
