vcore 1.4 bios 1.375 in windows drops to 1.33 ish under load

idle temps are 43-39-39-37 using real temp 3.40
load temps about 80 before the bluescreen when prime95 is on blend so not sure how high it will go

after i get this stable i want to try hit 4.5 if i can i know temps should be 70ish for these chips but in games and stuff never hits 60 i would post pics but not sure how lol

Welcome to the forums.

Have you had it stable at

- 4.2,
- 4.0
- 3.8

or even at stock?

Or did you just pile on in at 4.4ghz?

4.4gz

its stable at everything below 4.4 ie 4.3 runs fine just 4.4 bluescreens and not sure if these setting are safe or how far i can take them everwhere i look on the net says diffrent

I think the problem is your mobo,

I have a 4.3GHz stable limit on my P6T, can't even go to 206 BCLK, 205 is the max with 21x, 215 with 20x. Doesn't matter what volts I'm using.

I'm also using better cooling than you (EK supreme HF + 420 rad), temps don't even reach 65C before it crashes. So as far as I can tell, it's a P6T/SE problem

what are ur setting in bios mate? and whats the vid of ur chip? mines 1.12v and clocked to 3.7 without and increase in anything 1.24v for 4gz and atm im at 4.2 with 1.29 ht on prime stable but i want to get 4.4 any1 have any ideas?

As above +1, to run above 4.2 especailly with your CPU Vcore going over 1.4v. A custom water set would be the thing to run 24/7 even though the NH-D14 is a good CPU cooler.

its only at 1.4 in bois without llc on so drops to almost 1.3 which aint a lot and temp are only just going over 70 under prime so i think 4.4 would be fine for gaming but not to safe for prime

1.42v?

I'd never even think of putting the volts that high on an i7, don't forget that's 0.3v more than they can normally run at stock

Yes it 1.42v in the bios but 1.37 when under load in windows as that is fine! Was idle at 1.39-1.40v at windows
under loads at 1.37v

was 1.42v at bios
