Hi all,

I'm hoping some of the more technical minded guys can help here. Me and a bunch of workmates are putting together a PES league, properly done with home and away ties, everyone playing each other twice etc and I'm hoping to record some matches to put on DVD.

We'll be playing on the PC version running through a HDTV (LG 26lx2r) running through DVI, I currently have a Gainward Geforce 6800 Ultra as my display adapter (AGP version, dual DVI, I believe has an S-Video output also?).

Can anyone offer any good suggestions on how I might be able to capture the play into an AVI file to burn to DVD, would be even better if you can offer up any suggestion on how to include commentary over the top via a standard PC microphone.

I don't mind paying for a PCI device to try this out but don't want to pay over the odds for something that would be purely novelty.

Thanks guys

I dont know if this will work but its the only way I can think of

You need to try and clone the output via the S-Video out. So whatever is show out the VGA/DVI port is replicated out the S-Video

You then feed the S-Video cable back into a TV Capture card.

This 'could' work but it will rape your CPU as youll be playing the game while capturing video.

Not the best but as I said....all I can think of (other than sticking a camcorder infront on the TV lol)

:edit: unless you have another pc that would do the capturing.....or a pvr type device?
