It's a PCB taken out from the new Cosmos II case. It is responsible for powering (I think) 10 LEDs. On the front panel, there is a button when pressed enables or disables all LEDs. The button itself works fine as it has it's own LED, but all the actual LEDs remain constantly ON.

I need to identify and possibly buy an alternative component and get this thing fixed.

Obviously I will try cooler master to send me the front panel only instead of sending the entire case back to them as I already have my hardware in it...

anyways, if you know what this component is, please let me know. I might just replace it.

Thanks.

It's a fan controller, it's highly likely to require some form of transistor or in this case MOSFET.
D would signify a diode.

Why do people post if they don't know something as basic as that?
Its a transistor as confirmed by the "Q" marking on the PCB.

Yes :)

Might get some here?

It's not likely to be that critical, it's only controlling speed. Look at specs and compare it to similar 30v p-channel mosfets from eBay and find something compatible. The type and pinout are the only fixed things here.
