Hi all.

i just got my laptop about 2 months ago it was working perfect. the problem im having is when i first downloaded some files off the internet they worked fine no porblems at all.

then i deleted them off my laptop :( didnt mean to.

and now when i download the files again - i use winzip to extract the files like i done the first time - but this time it keeps asking me to choose a program to open the files and none of them will work.

i know the files im downloading are fine because i have downloaded them onto a pc and another laptop and they work perfectly fine :( any help would be great.

here it the file location - its safe i have checked it with anti-virus so dont be scared to try it see if you can find the fault.

what you mean the file extension - its like a folder full of information for a game odd on :)

used to work fine on my new laptop but now dosnt if i have deleted a program any idea's on what it was and how i could reinstall it?

the link to the file is in the first post :)

i have winzip what i havnt changed what i use to extract the files once they are downloads it just keeps asking for a program to open the things inside the folder i downloaded...

i even think when i go into C: DRIVE and programs and open just for an example - MSN it will ask me to choose a program to open any of the files inside the msn folder!

im rubbish with computers lols thanks for your reply

The file extension means for example a Microsoft word document would have an extension of .doc or a picture might have an extension of .jpg. This is what tells your operating system which program to use in order to open the file. I can't open your link as im in work here but have you checked for installation instructions for the add on after you have unzipped the files?
