Hi guys,

I have a sample letterhead that I am trying to reproduce in word for printing.

I have the logo and details in the header, but I am struggling with the footer.

In the footer below, I cannot get the background colour to stretch the full width of the document.

Could someone with the know how be kind enough to do it for me please?

I just need an able volunteer and your email address to send the documents.

Thanks

Things like letterheads are probably more easily designed in something like Illustrator. Aren't they normally pre-printed anyway? Then you use whatever program to print just the actual content at a later date. Consumer printers often do a shoddy job of edge to edge printing, if they can do it at all. Really for quality work you tend to need to print on oversized media which gets trimmed down to whatever size you actually want.

Sorry not actually solving your problem.

If you really need a full strip of colour in the footer a really simple way to do this would be to edit the Footer and then insert a Text Box. Stretch it to the full width / height of the footer and set the background colour.
