Need help with monitor issue

Hi,
wife has a problem with monitor output stopping.

The only constant seems to be this happens on 'display 1' - she has dual screen setup.

We initially swapped cables (dvi) and gfx card - still had the same problem so RMA'd the monitor. The replacement did exactly the same.

I've since swapped out the motherboard (intel i3) (one I had lying around with its own set of RAM and amd phenom II cpu).

Probably accidentally swapped monitor connections around... the exact same issue is now happening on the other monitor.

So with completely different monitor, dvi cable, ram, motherboard, cpu, gfx card we have this recurring monitor display issue.

I have tried loading in safemode, deleting display adapter driver and reinstalling latest non-beta from ati - no luck.

OS: win10
psu: 620w antec.
gfx cards: hd4770 + hf4650

Please help!

It is unlikely but it even more unlikely that you are having the same issue after changing all of that, there's not much else it could be short of reinstalling Windows but I am assuming you have already done that.

Don't be so hasty. Do they run over or near anything that could induce current and thus affect the display?
No, nothing. Also there has been no change and the system had no issue for 1-2 years.

Haven't reinstalled o/s, but, save for PSU, it's the only option left that I can see.
