Need help with MSI Z68A-GD65 and B2 error (GTX 1060)

My GTx 1060 is causing the screen to freeze with B2 showing on the bottom right corner. some googling reveals this is an error with trying to use a new card on an old BIOS -- literally everything from a GTX 660 to 970.

But the links to MSI on there don't work and am having the time of my life trying to update the bios as I'm getting this...

Any suggestions?

Also tried downloading BIOS 25.8 from here and putting it on a USB but when i go into it from the M-Flash utility in setup, it says it can;t find the file. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z68AGD65_G3.html#support_download

You need to unzip the 7681vp8.zip file to a blank formatted usb stick then run the file (E7681vP8.exe) on the stick from within windows, it will unpack the bios flash then prompt you on what to do next.

Why are you flashing in windows? You are better off flashing in the actual bios. Unzip the bios file to a freshly formatted (in FAT 32) USB stick, boot into the bios, and find the flashing section.

Thanks btw. Running this on a formatted stick worked. I guess it needed the stick to be formatted.
