Hi guys,

I've had my rig over a year now and always been questioning is it at its best?

Everything is at factory settings.

I7 4790k @4ghz
2x g1 gaming gtx 970
8gb ram
Windows 10
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
VGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Noctua NH-D14 65.0 CFM CPU Cooler

I've just started playing The Division today and can't run it at ultra or high because of memory problems, windows just wants to shut it down. Plays at medium 70-110

Fallout 4 is horrible when in towns, but heard thats optimisation?

Battlefield I can play at ultra but get spikes down to 100 but I guess thats a given?

Just some questions need answering really and solved if possible :)
Thank you

I wold OC that CPU, add an additional 8GB RAM and tell us all what drive your using? SSD? Let Windows manage your pagefile.

Okay that I can do. I've been meaning to get ram for ages :o Using my hd for games and ssd for drivers and bootup

Just noticed C drive my ssd was managed but my D drive with where the games are installed was set to none. I've started playing and noticed its more stable? /bonk

I guess this would help?

Should do, especially with the memory issues. Let us know if you get any more issues :)

One more issue came. I started playing the division and not long after my pc turned off. I guess over heating? I'm still at medium settings.. I'll play again today so I can monitor temps ect

Edit: BF4 i played for a few hours last night runs smooth. Fallout 4 has fps drops still after a few hours today :/

Thankyou though it has improved :)

Also i read somewhere recently people using SLI in FA4 had better results when launching the game in Geforce experience, worth a try ;)

Ill give that a try. Thanks man!

I updated some drivers last night and encountered some bugs with sound/bios display, so I just reverted back to windows 8.1. Everything seems good.

The only weird thing I find is that virtual memory is now 8192 with it being system managed, but the recommended is 4573. Confused!
