Hi guys
I have got my 3500 winnie to 2500 but I keep failing test 3 on prime 95.
I was wondering what setting to adjust next.
250/10 @ 2500 4*HTT 1.5v
Balistix pc4000 @ ddr400 2.5-4-4-8 2.8v
How much more power can I put through the cpu
I am water cooling the cpu
thanks

why would be need a divider his RAM is already at ddr 400 (200Mhz) dont see why it would need to go lower than that. Its good quality RAM.

All id say it maybe give the chipset a little more volts thats what helped me get past errors like this. But yeh watch the temps ect ect.

But keep in mind that you have a winni chip there, they have naff memory controllers so they dont tend to clock that well.

You may well of hit a brick wall, what temps are you getting?

Might be able to give the chip a little more juice depending of the temps.

Oops sorry my mistake (>.<)

Was reading it as the RAM running at ddr 400 not that its divider was ddr 400

Yeh was defcon5 said drop the divider down one setting and try then.

Sorry Defcon5

-edit Yeh agree with welshtom,

If your wanting to oc the cpu more id lower the divider rather than raise the timings, gets it completley out of the equation then.

If you just want it to be stable at that speed do as welshtom says.

Its pc4000 so its rated to do 250, what are the rated timings @250?

the rated timing are 2.5-4-4-8
but I keep failing memtest after 1000%
I have tryed tightening them to 2.5-3-3-8
and still the same.
my cpu idles at 27 and goes upto 40 on prime95

Right could someone please verify if these settings sound ok
3500 @ 2.45 245/10 1.5v
DDR333 divider 2.8v 2.5-3-3-8

9 hours prime95 stable

temps under prime95
cpu 41
sys 45
pwm 45

Probably not. At the same clock speed, a processor with a lower multi and higher FSB will be under more stress than one with a higher multi and lower FSB. This is why it is recommended to keep the multi at full when OCing.

There are some exceptions to this rule though. :)
