Need help with odd setup

Hi all, I have a slightly strange setup in my mancave but I have an issue with it. I've got a gtx 1080 running 3 screens. 1 screen is on DVI running 120hz, a c9 old running on hdmi and an old Denon amp 1610 connected via a DP to hdmi cable. The reason for this setup is my monitor is for text stuff, and the oled is for gaming. The amp is old so won't do HDR (and possibly not 120hz, not sure). The issue I have is I can't get my oled hdmi connection to be 120hz, seems to be capped at 60hz (unless I disconnect the amp, but there I lose surround sound). Any ideas, I will change the amp when funds/Mrs allows as I can then just pass through that.

what HDMI port version and what resolution is the monitor?

The monitor is 1080p on DVI, the gpu has hdmi 1.4 I believe (TV is 2.1). I think I e solved it, I've set it to yr444 rather tha RGB. I think this uses less bandwidth as I seem to remember on my PS4 Pro I have to do the same.
