Need Help with Pairing Phone with Skoda

In my manual it says I can pair a phone via Bluetooth (BT) with my Fabia vRS (2013 model). I turn on BT on my phone and it finds Skoda BT but when I press it nothing happens. I've tried going through the maxi dot display but it doesn't find my phone. I'm trying to connect my Nexus 5 (running Lollipop), has anyone connected their android phone to a vRS or Skoda via BT?

No help in solving the issue, but I connected my G3 running older 4.4.2 no problem to a hire fabia i had.

I located the fabia with BT, whacked connect and it popped up on the dash saying 'myphone' wants to connect via BT, i entered 1234 (code it gave me) and it connected.

I did have to do all this with the engine off and ignition on however, it wouldnt work with engine running (same as my Fiats and Espace)

All my android phones(N4 and N5) and the wifes iPhone 4s pair fine to my 13 plate vRS.
I'm only around the corner to you in Calne,let me know if you want to have a go at pairing with mine.

Are you turning discovery on, on the phone? You'll want to do it through the maxidot, but in order for it to find the phone you need to ensure discovery is turned on.

Think I've sorted it now! When I pressed the Skoda BT on my phone I held it in this time (rather than one press) and the car found my phone. I put in the code it asks for and was connected with the voice recognition (VR). I then get asked to create a user profile on the maxi dot but pressing ok doesn't seem to do anything. I have got to a point where the VR asks me for options so I gave my home phone number to see if it worked. It comes up on the display correctly but the VR then says continue. If you leave it nothing happens so I said continue but all that does is add 22 to the end of my phone number. I'm sure I'm almost there! I'll wait till the Mrs comes home from work and get her to ring me to see if it works on incoming calls as this is where I'll probably use it most.
