Need help with picking a graphics card.

Depends on what quality you want.

But I think it may struggle with two displays playing games at any decent quality...

Btw why 2 PSU's? :p

1GB will be fine for most games at 1080p, if you are gaming on one screen. Any problems would be sorted lowering the settings. BF3 seems to be the only game on ultra that really uses more the 1GB on 1080p.

2GB card is more future proof, but unless you have a high end CPU 2500k (or similar) you probably won't be running on setting that need 2GB.

Having the 2nd screen as a desktop won't be a problem.

Gaming on 2 screens would be odd.

My bad, I meant to put 2x monitor.

The games themselves will only be on one monitor, but I'd like to have other things open on the second. Will 1GB VRAM be sufficient?

P.S - My specs are:

2500K
8GB RAM
GTX 460 (CURRENTLY)
SSD BOOT DRIVE

I use the Asus GeForce GTX 560Ti DirectCU II TOP 1024MB GDDR5 and it didnt care about having BF3 (Medium - High setting) on my tv via HDMI and the internet (mainly with stats) open on my 24" monitor. It did have a couple of issues screen switching mouse wise but apart from that was fine. I did try with a DVD on my 24" with BF3 running for shiz n giggles..... didnt like that....

** Edit now that I think about it, the DVD wasnt actually a DVD, it was a film sitting on my HDD, that could explain the issues, it might have been ok reading from an disk!

Haha.

And if gaming one one monitor only, then yes the 560ti will do the job well
