Need help with picking GPU!

I've got a 980ti I have been wanting to upgrade from when 3080 come out but as we all know mining took over and couldn't get anything I then thought id wait to see what NVidia had to offer with 4000 series but the price was silly I was going to get 7900 xtx but they all sold out in mins I then was going to get 7900 xt but reviews are not very good on them what would people suggest?
I mostly play Warzone 2 and have 1440p 165hz monitor so want to get close to that any suggestions?

Ryzen 5600x and I guess around £1000 as i was thinking of buy 7900 xtx

I built 2 years ago with putting a 3080 in my head but didn't know what was going on at the time so bought a cheap card to get me by so ive got Corsair 750rmx PSU
