Need help with reliable monitor

Hey people,

I've had bad luck with 2 monitors now, a cheap element gaming 1440p 144hz monitor (yes I know shouldn't have bought it), thought it was worth the gamble but apparently not. Then I bought a 32inch Samsung lc32jg500 monitor which had a faulty mainboard for which I am currently in the process of refunding

I need a 1440p 144hz monitor for my setup. Any ideas on a good brand which is reliable or has a good return policy? I'm looking to spend no more than £400, cheaper the better of course. I do some competitive gaming so 1ms or 2ms repsonse is best.

Thanks

A budget list. It would help to know what amount we are talking about, I was just pointing out that one could pick up a list on the net and then research it further. Seriously, who buys a gaming monitor without doing some work to find out which works best for them and not simply trust one review?

A better list, but costing more: https://www.expertreviews.co.uk/pc-...he-best-pc-monitors-for-1080p-1440p-4k-gaming

thanks for the list pal much appreciated. Was gonna go for that AOC CQ32 but rang overclockers and the return rate for that monitor is quite bad. I'm leaning towards the Hannspree right now as it has a much better return rate and good specs. Either that or the Acer Nitro haven't decided yet.

A better way imo would be to look at one of these people to see their reviews on products of interest; the reason is that there's no BS and they get straight to the review.
