Only last week I had a problem where my newly built system wouldn't restart itself after an install for example. I had to keep pressing the reset button on the front of the case to bring it back to life.
However, I found a solution to this problem on the web which was to change the LDT setting from 5 to 4 in the BIOS which now works a treat.
However, I now have a problem with shutting down the system as when I click shutdown the system restarts.
My spec is as follows: -
Mobo: Asus P5N32E-SLi
CPU: Intel Quad Core QX6700
O/S: Windows Vista Home Premium
As anyone any idea on how I can resolve this & what actually is the LDT setting in BIOS?
