Hi,

I am looking to do a new build. My old rig is about 7 years old but it was a self build. I am a bit out of touch so would appreciate some pointers. I have purchased a 120 gig SSD and have a copy of win7 Pro 64bit, keyboard, mouse and monitors but need the rest.

PC will be used mainly for web design and Photoshop CS6 (hobby not pro). Not expecting to play games but may play with the occasional bit of video editing.

Given the bits above looking at £350. Could I run with onboard Graphics and add one later? If so what power supply do I need to cover this future upgrade?

Want to run 2 screens.

If any more info needed please let me know.

Any help appreciated.

Athlon 760k Richland CPU
MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Motherboard
4gb DDR3 just get cheapest RAM you can find
XFX Proseries 450w Power Supply
Cooler Master N200 Case
1tb Hard Drive for storage alongside SSD
HD7850/R7 260X/HD7790 (whichever you can afford)

Comes to about £350 off the top of my head.

Yes. Good choice if original budget is limited.

That depends on which GPU you intend to add in future. Can you give us an idea? What is the maximum GPU that you would like the PSU to cover for, in case you end up getting that max GPU?

Want to run 2 screens.

You'll need a good card to game (if you game) on two monitors, although for gaming you could always switch to one monitor, if the card won't deal with it. Can always play about with resolution etc as well. Which monitors are they?

I have an Intel i5 build/plan in mind, depending on what you say.

A little over budget but this will do you really.

The intel route would be my choice, but cost more in the long run.
