Sorry but I am not intelligent enough when it comes to this, so please be patient with me :S but I will try to be as clear as possible.

Recently my Samsung 840 SSD arrived, but only then I found out I was missing things.

- I am using NZXT Phantom 410 Case, but what size adapter will I need so the ssd can fit? I had alook and I dont know which one as it mentions 2.5, 3.5 and 2.5+3.5 ect.. any ideas?

- Also in the instructions for installing the SSD, it says I need a cable whilst installing the SSD through the disk installation, the cable looks fairly short, with a usb on 1 end and a long type thing on the other? it only says that in the instruction manual, where as I have never heard of that before?

1 x Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TE250BW) £155.99

1 x NZXT Phantom 410 Enthusiast Midi Tower Case - Black/White £84.95

Any help is much appreciated, Thanks!

will have to find the case for my pc to grab those extra cables for another storage device, (i hope there are extras, thats even if i can find the box)

The hard drive sleds might allow for screwing a 2.5 drive into them directly without any adapters.

When you install windows to the SSD make sure your HDD isn't plugged in. After windows is installed you can plug it in.

If both are plugged in there is a bug in the windows 7 install that will put the system reserved partition on the hdd and windows on the SSD. This causes boot time to be slow and means if the HDD goes / dies you can't boot.

Most hard drives tool less fitting sleds come with the screw holes as standard now so you should have what you need

on the phantom hdd sledge you can just screw the Ssd onto the sledge with 4 small screws.
to install, you use Sata cable which comes with motherboard, and the power cable from psu.
the instructions with SSD are for the transfer kit that you don't get with basic evo drive
