Hey guys.

My dad has asked me for a Very basic computer just to run a checkout type software package.
That is all its really doing.

The Budget is £315. The budget includes everything. Screen, Keyboard, Mouse, System.

I can pick up a cheap keyboard and mouse for £5 in my supermarket.

So far I have got this , What are your thoughts

Primo 6100a

It is very basic, that's all that is needed. I am unsure If I could build it for less.

I would prefer If i could get a case that goes on its side, I can't think of the name for them, but you'd typically find them in offices/schools.

Looking at the system for a budget its good value for a prebuilt system

it says

4GB of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM allows for snappy and precise processes to be made

then in system specs it says

8GB DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Hmmm

assuming its 4 gb

advantage of building yourself would be the extra warranty you would get on parts etc

+ you need to add an OS onto that which comes to £256 then + a monitor will take it over £315

That is an odd Mobo.
That seems worse than the pre build system i linked... Or am i reading it wrong ?

Considering it does`nt actually say which A55 mobo is in the Primo 6100a, it is kind of hard to compare my choice .
The H61 has USB 3.0, not many A55 do.
It does`nt have have sata 6gbs either, but then there is only one A55 board that does.

The only case I know that fits the bill, is a VESA and these are not cheap.
The case I specced because I thought it would be ideal, the ability to go under the counter.
But if you prefer AMD.

I understand now, Thank you. There would be little use for USB3 though, Unless its the same price then its all gravy.
I have no preference on Processor AMD or Intel. Ive had good experiences with both.
