Need help with system upgrades

I want these two components:

And just wanted to know if I buy these with the specs I already have, will I be able to run them and have no problems? I'm quite new and don't really know what will work lol.

My specs:

CIT Invader Case

AMD A8-7670K 4.2GHz Quad Core CPu

Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2 AMD Socket FM2+ Motherboard

Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR3 Ram

1TB SEAGATE BARACUDA SATA3

24X DVD-RW Optical Drive

Not too sure if they will all match up and everything, will i have enough connectors and everything? I really don't want to spend £300+ to have my system fail me lol.

As for the 970, a lot of people are recommending going AMD and getting a 390 or 390x at this price point, as it is offering better value performance at the moment. In terms of brands, EVGA and Zotac are both highly recommended for warranty and service.
