Need HELP with two games freezing every 5 seconds

I have two games that freeze/pause about every 5 to 10 seconds for about a second whenever i try playing them on my HTPC PC system

I updated all the drivers & bios
I restalled windows7 twice
I tryed with only a single memory stick fitted in a different slot
I tryed with a different GPU card fitted
I tryed with the audio disabled

And none the above would fix this freezing/pausing problems

The two games i get this problem with are Dirt3 and Sonic Generations

My HTPC specs are
i2500k CPU (stock speed)
Asus p67 pro micro ATX board
GTX 275 (Also tryed my GTX 580)
8GB DDR3 memory
windows 7 64bit


Anyone else have any other ideas what else to try ???

No one has any clues to what maybe causing these freezes/pauses

Fixed it....

The case front mounted LCD was causing the freezing problems......Disconnected it and the games are running fine now..
