Hi All

I have a Thermaltake Kandalf case. The pump and reservoir combo has broken and I cant find a replacement. Would someone be able to suggest a viable option?

Also I need a AM3+ water block for the processor as I have upgraded and my old water block doesnt fit anymore.

I believe the pipe size of the Kandalf is 3/8'? Someone might know better than me!

Cheers

Just to mention, I will likely need all the fixtures and fittings as well. The ones on the PC are rather old.

Can take pictures of the pipes when I get home later if that is of any help!

Does this look about right?

All the parts are 1/4" and I have then bought adapters for 1/4" to 3/8" Tubing.

The only question I still have is can you get converters for 3/8" connectors to 1/4" connectors? The connectors in the Kandalf are all 3/8"

AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 9590 Black Edition 4.70GHz (5.00GHz Turbo) (Socket AM3+) Processor
Mayhems Ultra Clear Watercooling Tubing (3/8 - 5/8) 16/10mm - 1m
XSPC D5 Photon 170 Reservoir / Pump Combo V2
XSPC G1/4" to 3/8" ID, 5/8" OD Compression Fitting (Chrome) V2 - 8 Pack
XSPC Raystorm CPU Water Block (AMD/AM4) V3 - Black
XSPC EC6 Coolant Blue UV

Just throwing this out there, but that case is pretty dated - if you're buying all this new WC kit why not replace the case with something more modern and then you can use fresh tubing etc with nice new clean rads?

But as long as your ID and OD are matching yes seems fine, all fittings etc are G1/4 where they meet the blocks so all good.

The case is pretty dated true. I will probably update it when I get a new PC. For now though I just want to get this one working properly.

Thanks for the info. At least I have a starting point.

I bought a cheap £50 CPU Water Cooler as a temporary measure which has helped. CPU temps when clocked are only 51c rather than the 90c previously. PC works better already, cant wait for a faster CPU and cooler temps!

Just need to cool the graphics card down next, last night when playing PUBG it was running at 91c... Way too hot for my liking...
