Need help with x58 motherboard

Need a motherboard which will allow me to fit 2x5770s and a asus essence stx

thanks;)

I have just upgraded to an x58 platform & the motherboard I purchased was the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R

I have the asus D2X soundcard & it fits into the second pcie slot leaving ample room for a crossfire setup below.
This motherboard works very well with my Kingston HyperX 6GB 2000MHz CL8 memory & i7 930 cpu.
4.4ghz stable (under water)

As you can see it fits just below the nb & its close to the graphics card but hey ho it does the job!

My cpu tops out at 4.5 & boots into windows but not very stable 4.4 is stable just shy of 1.4 v, futuremark vantage stable that is, I have not ran any torture tests yet just hours of gaming with no crashes or heat problems

I can confirm thats the board & I am also new to socket 1366 & gigabyte boards, I have always been an asus mobo user in the past so tbh I was a little bit sceptical about buying a gigabyte motherboard especially after a friends disaster x38 gigabyte effort, but I do have to say I do feel confident with this motherboard & after a nervous installation I have found this board to be a little belter.
For the money you simply cant go wrong!

As far as memory goes I guess faster memory will give you greater flexibility & headroom for overclocking, I opted for faster memory because of overclocking issues in the past being held back by limited memory banwidth & quality, I certainly do like this memory I have had it running over 1800 mhz cl7 cr1 & it will do 2000 mhz with this board
