I use a Netgear RAX80, wifi 6, with mesh support, although not cheap, and may have gone EoS
that said, WiFi6e routers have just started to filter into the market, might be worth having a look.

Also heard good things about Netgear Orbi's

I’ve extensively tested WiFi6E and you literally need an access point in every room to get the real benefit.

downside of shifting to the 6Ghz wavelength, shorter wavelength is great for performance, but range isn't as good, and doesn't penetrate objects like walls as well.
but shouldn't you consider buying a router with it, rather than without it? may be useful in future.

For me the advantage of buying the £40 Huawei is that it’s effectively disposable. You can mesh up to 4 of them and when you throw them away and buy the WiFi6E version you’ve only lost £40-£160 rather than £1000 on a fully spec’d Orbi system. Does that make sense?
