Need some help guys.
My father has got an old computer from my Brother, a 1200 Duron, which worked when he got it about two weeks ago. However, it has since failed to work. Given what he told me over the phone (I live in the south of England and my dad is in the north
), I assumed the motherboard had gone. I therefore bought him a new motherboard, an Asrock K7VT4A PRO.
Anyway, he has put it altogether, together with new pc2100 512MB memory (he previously had 512SD RAM, whichisn't supported on the new board). When he presses the power botton, the keyboard and mouse light up and the fan spins for exactly second and then nothing.
I suspect the power supply is knackered, but wondered what you guys thought.
