Whilst uninstalling my nvidia drivers i think i may have removed ide drivers and ethernet drivers. Now when i boot into windows i have no control, no mouse movement, no keyboard either. It says something about finding a new PCI bridge. I really need help i dunno what to do - it hangs in safe mode aswell on the loading screen.

Help me! :(

Does the motherboard have PS2 keyboard support? if so you might be saved. Else you really have little or no option other than to run a repair install off the windows CD

The Keyboard will work in bios cos it's the windows driver/a driver dependency that's missing. Unfortunately to install drivers in windows you do really need to be IN windows. The easiest way to re-install drivers that come with windows is a repair install.

All your data will be intact, only programs may be affected.

ok finding windows CD now

Do you know what ive done though? by deleteing those drivers?

My keyboard is Ps2 and ive tried USB mouse and PS2 mouse with no joy

so i take it i insert the CD and boot from CD?

you've probably removed drivers for the USB or one of the devices it relies on to work. Given your Ethernet adapter stopped working also I'd wager it was a dependency they both use.

windows repair should remove all 3rd party drivers from they system and replace any damaged or missing drivers that come pre-installed in windows. This will include support for USB keyboards and mice. Once you have keyboard and mouse control you can then go about re-installing drivers for other devices and restoring things to normal.

put the cd in and boot from it, when it comes up with the set of options go to install, then when it scans your drive it will say choose a partition to install on, when u highlight your current installation at the bottom of the screen it will say press R to repair.
