Hi here is my computer spec,

I bought it from OC pre-made.

Titan Nero" AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 7850+ Black Edition 2.80GHz DDR2 System

Case: Coolermaster Elite 335 Case - Black
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
Memory: Corsair XMS2 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX Dual Channel
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-M61PME-S2P nForce 430 PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Optical Drive: LG GH22NS30 22x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter
Power Supply: Corsair CX 400W ATX Power Supply
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 7850+ Black Edition 2.80GHz
Processor Cooler: AMD Black Edition Approved CPU Cooler
Sound Card High Definition: 7.1 OnBoard Sound Card

First of all after putting the graphics card drivers on i lost all audio because the HDMI audio was conflicting with the onboard apaprently. (I dont use HDMI just yet, dont have good enough monitor)
Anyways, after loads of messing around i have installed a creative sound labs sound card in there and that has fixed the audio problem but now my system will just show a orange screen with a high pitched tone coming from the speakers.
A hard reset is required and this only tends to happen while playing Age Of Conan,

Can anyone help please?

p.s this may not be in correct forum.

Worth going back to basics? Remove graphics and motherboard/chipset drivers, then reboot, try 1 driver at a time, and see if you get the same issues coming up?

ok i am gunna go home after work and remove the drivers for the motherboard and graphics and try again,

Should i remove the audio card drivers too as i am removing the motherboards?

Also will removing the motherboard driver affect my OP or anything?

PC newb here :P

what graphics driver version did you put on ?

if your going to re install the mobo drivers i would uninstall any software other than the o/s before re installing them.

i would uninstall audio as well, also disable onboard sound if you plan to use the sound card.

I emailed them and all i got was 'Go to the forums and our people will help you there'

very surprised by that as usually asked not to bring shop "issues" onto the forums from threads i've seen in the past

I installed the drivers from the card but i faced a problem with conflicting audio like a said, i think its just a bad case of me installing drivers ontop of drivers :(

I will report back hopefully after work with my findings.
