Hey folks,


Trying to sort a friends laptop out but having some trouble !


Problem(s):


Getting a BSOD when trying to load Windows XP

STOP : C000021a

f 0xc000000005 (0x0000000 0x00000000)


I've tryed booting into safe mode but windows XP still wont load.


I've been told to try and re-install Windows XP but i cant get into BIOS to get it to boot from CD.

The Laptop is an Advent 7109


All help appriciated.

press F2 if you want to go to bios. run memory and hdd test, if both of them passed then re-install windows will be the last option.

Got it sorted, F2 didn't take me into BIOS but F10 took me into a windows XP Recovery screen.
