Need help !! :(

About 20 minutes ago,all my programs just closed, a virus scanner opened up in the centre of my screen, however I'm pretty sure it's a fake mock up one, because I have never seen it before, and loads of messages appeared in the bottom right of my screen from the taskbar, saying blahblah is infected with trojan etc.. So I turned the pc off, and booted into safe mode, ran AVG and it came up with 1 or 2 small issues, but nothing that would cause this. I booted back into normal mode, and it happened again. I'm not able to format at this point in time, so could anyone help me get rid of this thing without having to reinstall windows ^^.

Download and run malwarebytes, it's a free program and should fix your problem.

If u have a spare pc/laptop, download mbam, then use it on your pc in safe mode. IF not try to download it in safemode with networking.

both me and my dad had something similar to this

if you have another computer around try downloading malwarebytes onto a USB (make backups of everything on there first). letting it run on a full scan sorted my dads computer. however, it couldnt get rid of the one on my laptop completely

My daughter's laptop had a similar problem last week...the message wasn't "pink" by any chance?
I managed to do a system restore via safe mode and it corrected the problem.

Make sure you update your virus protection etc afterwards.

Scareware is rife at the minute, even i had an an encounter yesterday!

I was sucked in by the "This is no joke, you have won a Mercedes" (not really BTW)

CCLeaner for your Reg keys as the virus will just keep re-downloading if you leave the reg keys, then use Mallware Bytes to seek and remove.
