I recently purchased all my new system parts from overlockers and since building it I've had nothing but the system constantly turning on and off within seconds
Ive reset CMOS kept battery out overnight,
Also removed RAM and tried to power the pc up and nothing also changed slots,
I've even removed all the parts to the system and still it turns on and off

This is my setup so far
Intel i5 3750k
Corsair cx750 psu
Gigabyte z77 d3h I believe there is probs with this mb
Msi 7850
16gb ddr3 team group 1600mhz 2x8gb
I also have a 128 ssd but unplugged it and still same fault

Having moved to intel from AMD makes me wonder why but then I never used anything other than asus MBs before lol

Does anyone have a clue what to do, and if it carrys on what next besides throw it out of the window lol

Just noticed on the corsair lead going to motherboard it's only got 23 pins instead of 24 could that be the fault as I've never really looked before I don't know if this is how they all look as never had a problem before

I've just took system apart as I'm in middle of sending mb RMA but when I have removed the CPU I noticed damage to the pins on the board is it better for me to not send mb back in case I get charged for damage that I've not done and just buy a new mb, also I noticed one of the chips on the board had some sort of acid like discolour on it,

As you have damaged pins in the CPU socket then OcUK, as any other retailer, is likely to refuse to accept an RMA.

You can ask in the Customer Service section of the forum.

If an RMA is refused then I suggest you approach Gigabyte directly as they have been know to replace motherboards with bent pins.
