Ok i need to take my cards out as they are sold. But i don't know how to get my onboard graphics to work. Ive taken the cards out and plugged the Dvi/Hd into the onboard graphics but the pc refuses to boot. Then i looked through the bios and noticed something called Igpu so i enabled that and tried again and the pc does come on but wont load windows, jsut keeps resetting. I have no idea how to get this onboard to work and seriously need help guys. My motherboard is in sig, ive tried with and without cards in. Don't know what else i need to do.

Helppppp

well all i can suggest is to clear the cmos by either pressing the clean cmos button if you have one or removing the battery for a few mins.

Windows 7 is quite versatile (as I have found out) but if you can't boot into safe mode, you will need to reinstall windows. Maybe you could put your old cards back in and uninstall the drivers for those and try again?

A few seconds, this is what im saying i dont know if i turned it on correctly and if ive installed the correct thing driver wise. I know nothing about onboard

Like James says, it should detect it. It could be a case of turning off the IGPU in the BIOS and back on again after uninstall. Also if you have 'Virtu' installed, uninstall it. Also make sure you have everything you need to keep backed up. As I just found out, it is a nightmare if you havn't :(

I dont have virtu installed guys. As for the IGPU option being turned on. all i can find is, an igpus option for virtu option and a graphics option with 3 choices. IGP?, pci and pcie. I really have no clue what im doing

In Bios, all you need to see is enable or disable IGP. When enabled, it should boot or at least show signs of attempting to. If you still have the chance to put the old GFX card in, do that and then see if it will boot. It is a case of what do you see "After" the bios screen?

So, uninstall nvidia drivers , turn igp on, remove cards. And then try booting up? what if it doesnt boot up? clearing cmos ive never done

Ok, yeah i still have a card in. If i turn on IGP it does attemp to boot, flashes on quicky and reboots everytime. But it is attempting it.
