Need help

ClearCMOS (take the motherboard battery out for a few mins) with the graphics cards out. It will then revert to default BIOS settings and it should boot through the onboard.

Taking the battery out is completely foreign to me , i dont even know where the battery is rusty. So i can't get into bios with no card in greg, why is this so difficult?

Thanks mate, im on here till 1 then i have to goto work, yeah as i said earlier i know nothing about this. I can build pc's all day long but theres certain things i just don't mess with, and ive never needed to use onboard for any length of time.

That is the cmos battery. Take it out for 10 mins (go make a cuppa and de-stress) and then pop it back in. Make sure you have unplugged the power lead from the PSU and removed the Nvidia GFX card.

Right ok, silly question how do i get it out, and will this effect my windows installation? if thats the case ill leave it till i get a new card and put that in. can use my laptop till then i guess

Just watched a video to see how to do it, ok ill try this guys.

EDIT - no luck guys, still wont boot. flashing from screen to screen and then rebooting. Looks like ill have to use this laptop till new gpu gets here. Off to work now in a mood lol

Did you go into your BIOS to check all settings had re-set? It should have lost all your overclock settings etc.

If they're still there it hasn't reset.
