Need help !!

touch the two pins that the front case pwr button attach to,touch both for one/two seconds with flat bladed screwdriver

there might also be two pins next to the cmos battery, that will do the same thing but if not use above method

(start the motherboard)

its doing the same thing with just cpu one stick ram and psu

starts for 4 seconds and psu makes a click then cuts off then goes again

what make/model psu?(anyway you can test with another?) nvm evga,i would try with another psu

if you get the cpu out again take some closeup pics of the whole cpu socket

your pins all look ok to me,only thing I would try next is with different brand psu,not sure with evga and gigabyte

if its not that idk what it is other than the board or memory compatibility, the black boards are tested by gigabyte themselves so it would be rare for that to be faulty

When you were trying a single ram stick, did you try each at a time? and then try all ram slots on the board.

Just tried the ram i tried 2 slots with one ram stick it logs on. I tried the other ram in same slots it shuts down after 2seconds

you have a faulty stick of ram then

(I would have thought id would've still booted up with all the sticks in but just 4gb missing ect in the bios) atleast you now know what it was, trouble is you'll have to rma the whole ram kit

yh it'll be fine, just carry on and install windows

it will sill work afterwards when you recieve your new ram
