Almost done with my first pc build then when I try to plug the HD Audio cable into my motherboard it won’t fit onto the pins, there’s 2-3mm of pins still showing, I have tried to put more pressure on it, being careful not to harm the motherboard in any way but no luck getting the connector securely on the pins, any help will be great. Working with a B450 tomahawk max and the cable comes from a Corsair x570 case.

Problem solved: just wiggled it whilst I pushed it in lol n it went on. Was still wayyy more flex in the board for my liking with the amount of pressure I had to use. First build tho so, just didn’t wanna push too hard n break somet.
